The team is made up of Architects, Developers, QA Assurance Analysts, and Product owners. As a DevOps engineer, you will be primarily responsible to maintain & automate our AWS infrastructure via Terraform. You will be working with an agile team to deliver products and change requests of the highest quality whilst proactively identifying improvements and enhancements on the platform.About the role:You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps engineer will also help plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.What you will be doing:Maintain & automate our AWS infrastructure via Terraform and PulumiExperience in containerization technology (e.g. Docker, EKS)Setup, build and manage CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub actions, kpack and XLDeploy)Providing technical support/consultation to development teamsUnderstand the team objectives and make sure that the team are on the path to achieving the Sprint / PI GoalsParticipate in code reviews, retros and demosMay be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and resultsMay deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiencesWhat you need:Cincinnati, OH location onlyA Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Minimum 3 years of professional work experience as a DevOps / Cloud EngineerExperience in K8s (containerization technology) & Terraform (infrastructure as code)Experience in AWS infrastructure management and automationExperience in one or more coding/scripting languages (ReactJS, C#, Python, Bash)Experience in working with Both SQL, NoSQL databases using PostgreSQL, MongoDBLinux System FundamentalsExperience with CI-CD automation and deploymentKnowledge around monitoring, alerting & logging (Splunk)Outstanding communication & presentation skillsSharp analytical and problem-solving skillsCertification is a plus (in Cloud / IaC / Containerized Applications)Experience in Configuration Management (Ansible)What we offer you:A career at Worldpay is more than just a job.
