About The RolePhysical therapists are the backbone of the comprehensive clinical care team at Hinge Health. Hinge Health Physical Therapists utilize their clinical expertise and knowledge of pain science to evaluate and treat a large number of patients across the MSK spectrum via telehealth, in-app messaging, and intermittent in-person care. You will work with a diverse set of members within a team of high performing, inclusive clinicians.
Our physical therapists are on the bleeding edge of delivering virtual MSK care enabled by advanced technology. Come join us if you are excited to help define what that should look like!The role is called “Flex Physical Therapist” for a reason - “flexibility” is critical!You thrive in situations requiring you to constantly adapt and evolve.Change is not a scary word to you, and you want to continually improve yourself, your profession, and healthcare as a whole.You are a flexible employee and are able to work between 25-40 hours (with optional overtime if offered). You will be notified of your hours outlook of hours at least one month in advance and having confirmed hours 2 weeks in advance.You are willing to treat members in a variety of ways including telehealth, in-app messaging, and intermittent in-person care when called upon within your region.You have 2-4 years of clinical physical therapy experience practicing in an orthopedics setting, evaluating and treating a variety of MSK conditions.Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in at least 1 state of the United States. Ability to complete required documentation to secure additional state licenses upon receipt of offer, within a timely manner.When performing Telehealth, you must be able to deliver telehealth services in a private, professional space with reliable, strong internet connectivity and within the United States.

Basic QualificationsTelehealth: demonstrates excellent and clear decision making to evaluate, treat, and manage patients across the MSK spectrum utilizing a biopsychosocial model when appropriateEffective Patient Management: Manages a large and varied caseload of patients safely and efficiently, utilizing a variety of digital tools to manage care and communicate effectivelyEffective Communication: Able to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally, with patients, colleagues, and other professionalsChange Agility: highly adaptable to taking on new workflows, processes and challenges within a fast-paced environment by employing critical thinking and creative problem-solving
Preferred QualificationsAble to work weekend and eveningsMedical fluency in other languages, verbally and in writing
This position will have an hourly pay rate, plus equity, and benefits. Please note that the hourly range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. For this position, our hourly pay rate ranges are listed below.
Tier 2: CA, WA (Seattle), Boston Radius, Chicago Radius, CT, DC Radius, Houston Radius: $37.50 - $51.54 Tier 3: IL (ex Chicago), MD(ex DC Radius), MA (ex Boston Radius), NH (ex Boston Radius), NY (ex NYC Radius), RI (ex Boston Radius), TX (ex Houston), VA (ex DC Radius), WA (ex Seattle Radius), WI (ex Chi Radius), AK, CO, DE, GA, HI, MI, MN, NV, NC, OR, PA: $34.23 - $47.07Tier 4: AL, AZ, AR, FL, ID, IN (ex Chicago), IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, ND, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WV, WY: $30.96 - $42.55We are not hiring in San Francisco Bay Area metro and New York City metro at this time.
