Senior Network EngineerJob Summary:As a
Senior Network Engineer , you will participate in our talented delivery team in the northwest. Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of complex data/security networks, development of security, routing, and switching configurations and deployment in medium to very large environments.You'll also be providing network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments, assisting clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks, and developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.Travel Requirements:
In this role, you will be expected to travel to client sites 25% of the time across WA, OR, and ID.Job Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks.Working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions.Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment.Provide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of secure networking environments.Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks.Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.Required Skills:Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following:BS in CS or EE or 8-10 years related experience.CCNP level experience required.CCIE Security or R&S - Preferred.Additional Desired Skills:Ability to physically wireless survey, or lift and install equipment.Experience with a combination of the following wireless platforms: Cisco, Meraki, HPE Aruba, or Myst.Experience performing wireless designs and assessment surveys with tools such as: Ekahau, Air Magnet.Working knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi standards and architecture.Understanding of wireless authentication methods including 802.1x, EAP, RADIUS, etc.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.8+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks.ABOUT PRESIDIOPresidio is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the highest levels and has strengthened its drive to build and drive systemic DEI change process across all levels of the organization.
