As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining monthly detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.Preparing and managing project accounting summaries (percentage of completion).Analyzing budget and actual performance to budget for both projects/jobs and SG&A spend.Reviewing expenses and capital expenditures for accuracy and ensuring policy guidelines are followed.Assisting in the preparation of documentation for external auditors.Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and supporting checklists.Assisting with the consolidation of multiple legal entities for financial reporting purposes.Assisting with process improvements to seek opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance system efficiencies.Interacting with internal departments and outside affiliates to develop/implement accounting system functions to meet reporting demands.Our ideal Senior Accountant possesses:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; MBA and/or CPA designation is a plus.2-4 years’ experience in public accounting or 4-6 years of experience in private company accounting.A strong command of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), specifically demonstrating a deep understanding of ASC842, ASC606, and ASC450 standards.An unwavering eagerness to learn and a passion for continuous improvement.Experience with NetSuite is an advantage, but not a requirement.Advanced Excel skills.Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.A knack for problem-solving and critical thinking that's backed by strong analytical skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Versatility, adaptability, and enthusiasm in the face of changing priorities and schedules.A self-starter mentality, combined with a team player's spirit.A strong work ethic who understands and is willing to commit to a 45+ hour work week at times.SageWater IS PROUD TO OFFER:
