The level hired will be dependent upon experience and skillset. You will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and product management. As a technologist, you will write user stories and groom product backlog items to develop features that consider a frictionless user experience while leading the delivery of lasting contributions to our store associates.The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong C#.NET coding experience as well as strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be familiar with all aspects of delivering software using agile best practices such as test-driven development, code refactoring, continuous integration, simple code design, pair programming, and a common codebase using cloud technologies. Additionally important are writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.Responsibilities:Interact with architects, engineers, subject matter experts to lead and implement enterprise systems.Analyze and translate business requirements into user stories that consider system architecture, performance, and scalability for robust technology solutions.Design and develop applications using agile best practices such as test-driven development, code refactoring, continuous integration, and pair-programing.Research code and analyze root cause then design, code and test solutions.Perform data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results and communicate findings to technical and non-technical teams.Ensure adherence to security best practices and standards for various platforms.Communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors and business customers in writing and presentation.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience5+ years’ experience in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment3+ years’ experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases3+ years’ experience in analyzing complex business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership.Leadership experience in driving a team’s work in an agile scrum environment as a subject matter expert, product owner, business analyst, or similar position.Experience planning and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.Coordinating large and critical cross platform releases with business units and technical teamsExperience in approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects and other company resources.Strong knowledge of architecture and design of solutions in an Azure environment to solve business problems.Preferred Qualifications
5 years in an agile scrum environment, leading developers, and working closely with business partners.3+ years of experience in implementing enterprise applications using platform services like Azure App service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Databricks, notification hubs, event hubs, Microservices, stream analytics, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, OpenAPI, IoT Hub, application insights, etc.3+ years’ experience using Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, or MAUIFamiliarity with mobile development and deployment of Android and Apple applicationsAZ-303 and/or AZ 304 Azure certifications or equivalent experience in designing/architecting Azure solutionsExperience with Data storage technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.Knowledge of Angular development and Telerik UI controlsExperience using Kendo.Experience with event-based messaging platforms like Kafka or MQTTExperience with Docker or other containerization technologiesEmployee stock ownership plan that contributes Publix stock to associates each year at no costAn opportunity to purchase additional shares of our privately-held stock401(k) retirement savings planGroup health, dental and vision plansPaid Time OffShort- and long-term disability insuranceFree hot lunches (buffet-style) at facilities with a cafeteriaAs a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year.
