Find your future with us.Software Engineer - Junior LevelWhy This is an Exciting Role:As a Software Engineer Level 1 at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for supporting the AWOKENFORCE Team. Your duties will include supporting and enhancing a suite of complex web applications and services that provide content management and collaboration in support of critical missions. Analyzing and managing requirements and external dependencies, updating product roadmap, and supervising development in a Kanban-based process. Improving software and system architecture for improved efficiency and reliability. Documenting and updating data models, schemas, APIs, and other technical specifications as needed. Addressing technical questions from users. Administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s).Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:Required Education and Years of Experience:Five (5) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Required Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphExperience with Docker Configuration and Management.Knowledge of Corporate Authentication Services and application integration.Experience with Parallel Programming.Experience with Assembly Language Programming.Experience with the following software development skills:JSONGitlabHTML/CSSMEVN Stack SoftwareMongoDB Database TechnologyExpress Web ServerVue.js and the Vuetify FrameworkNode JSMicroarchitecture-specific Software Development.Desired Qualifications:Jira/ConfluenceAgile/Spring ProcessesTelework/Remote Availability: NoWork Location: Annapolis Junction, MDSummary Pay Range:Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only.
