PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The International Tax Manager is an experienced tax professional that works directly with the Executive Director - International Tax on international tax planning and strategic initiatives. The International Tax Manager leads the review of US international tax compliance, quarterly and year-end provision for international entities, and audit defense reconciliations. The International Tax Manager will also support business objectives and tax department goals as well as assist with other special projects, as needed.

Review the US International tax aspects of the US federal tax return including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118, E&P and foreign tax credit computations, related disclosures and elections.

Review the quarterly and annual US international calculations including subpart F, GILTI, FTC, FDII, & BEAT.

Assist with preparation and review of ASC 740, Sec. 987 calculations, tax basis calculations, and asset allocation calculations.

Coordination and review of international (local country) income tax filings and transfer pricing reports prepared by external providers.

Establish solid working relationships with cross functional business partners to develop and maintain a deep understanding of legal entity operations, transaction flows, risks and functions in order to accurately review and provide support related to US international tax filings and provisions.

Assist with US international tax impact of proposed tax planning ideas and research technical US International tax issues.

Assist with global BEPS planning and compliance efforts, including coordination with outside service providers for local BEPS compliance requirements.

Lead US international tax compliance review efforts with a focus on process improvement.

Assist in U.S. tax audits with respect to implications arising from international entities and related foreign tax credits, including reconciliations.

Assist in managing relationships with outside consultants including engagement and billing matters.

Lead and develop a team of 2-3 International Tax Professionals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
