As we expand our reach, we seek a meticulous and skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate tracking of the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline-oriented, and adept at managing and prioritizing a substantial workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to integrate seamlessly into a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be capable of taking direction and working in a tight-knit team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.Key Responsibilities

Maintain DRC’s general ledger and accounting records in accordance with GAAP.Reconcile cash accounts daily and all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.Run the monthly invoicing process within strict deadlines and ensure timekeepers comply with DRC timekeeping policies.Maintain Accounts Receivable, including outreach to clients on aging receivables.Maintain Accounts Payable, including input of invoices, and weekly A/P runs.Assist in special Finance projects and software implementations as needed.Financial reporting including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to DRC’s management team, executive team, and investors.Work closely with the Financial Analysis team.Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual independent audits.Assist in the preparation of all applicable corporate tax returns and tax matters.Assist Finance leadership with cash flow forecasting.Run semi-monthly payroll.Process travel and reimbursement requests.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in accounting is required. MBA, MAcc, or CPA strongly preferred.2+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in a law firm or other professional services firm environment.Proficient with Microsoft 365 platform and programs, and advanced proficiency with Excel.Experience interacting with private equity investors preferred.Additional Information
