Our client is a high-performing accounting, tax and consulting firm. They are looking for an Audit Senior Manager to join their Woodbury, NY office.
Responsibilities
Contribute to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk
Establish the expectations of the audit team and the value of client services to be delivered
Manage multiple audit engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-based environment
Participate in the performance of audit procedures that impact complex or specialized issues facing a client
Identify accounting and audit risks using US GAAP, IFRS, US GAAS, IAS, and PCAOB auditing standards
Oversee all engagement fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results
Successfully manage the engagement team against the budget and alter the budget if required
Handle client engagement administrative tasks and ensure profitability targets are met
Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues to engagement partner as they arise
Develop other audit staff through knowledge sharing, on-site training, and performance feedback
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
8+ years of audit experience
Experience with Manufacturing & Distribution clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical, organized, and able to manage projects
CPA required
Advanced Excel skills
