Responsibilities include key liaison to the consultant completing government price calculation and submission processes, administration of government contracts, assessment and payment of managed care and government rebates, administration and support of pricing across channels for all inline and launch products. Position would be expected to learn the various aspects of government pricing, be able to challenge reports before submitting, and work with consultant to identify and complete specific products.This position is ultimately responsible for the accurate payment of government rebates and other related fees. This individual will serve as a key resource as it relates to pricing and government price impacts. The individual will also be a subject matter expert to the US Pricing Committee on matters related to Government Pricing.Responsibilities:Lead the Government Pricing and Reimbursement functionMaintain compliance with government programs including Medicaid, Medicare Part D, Coverage GAP, Medicare Advantage, TRICARE, VA FSS, and PHS/340B.Lead the Government Pricing area including external vendors to ensure accurate calculations of monthly/quarterly pricing reports and submissionsDrive initiatives and direction to optimize company net revenue as it relates to government pricing impactLead the development of long-term price and contracting administration processes proceduresWork closely with Government Managed Care Field team members and offer development colleagues to develop plans to effectively evaluate contract options that impact any government payers, impacted health systems, Long Term Care, federal markets, Medicaid, and MedicareLead efforts to communicate WAC prices and pricing rebate programs for in line and newly launched products, including compendia reporting as well as State price transparency law communicationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree required, Graduate Degree preferred8+ years' experience in the US pharmaceutical industry with an emphasis in pricing, finance, and/or market access.Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical Government pricingStrong understanding of health economics, financial analysis, US Pricing, and Government affairs / policy. Experience using knowledge to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, and to identify threats and business opportunitiesUnderstanding of buy and bill reimbursement / Medical benefit adjudicationDemonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management including field sales, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and vendor partnersPosition requires maturity, patience, analytical, excellent verbal, written and presentation skillsWorks across and influences multiple functions including regulatory, legal, finance, and consulting partnersWorks across all therapeutic areasStrong planning and modeling skillsCan communicate complex calculations and strategies at an executive level.Continual education on key industry trends that may impact Ferring businessManages Vendors and ConsultantsTravel 10-20%Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.Location:

The base salary range for this role is $103,550 to $188,500, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
