Then you sound like a Worldpayer.About the teamOur Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams ensure we're doing business the right way. The primary responsibility of the Worldpay Credit team is to review larger credit risk exposure accounts to ensure the merchant's credit fundamentals are adequate in relation to the potential exposure generated from the payment processing relationship. They help us balance a healthy risk appetite, so we're empowered to expand our horizons. The Third-Party Agent (TPA) Credit and Risk Oversight team's plays a critical role in overseeing the risk of Worldpay's Payment Facilitator (PayFac) and ISO portfolios. The team conducts underwriting of new TPAs, periodic credit reviews, portfolio monitoring and shadow transaction monitoring, and generally partners with our commercial team in seeking to profitably grow the portfolio.What you'll ownObtains and reviews the financial statements of merchantsPerforms extensive analysis of financial statements and providing an assessment of their credit profile and making supportable recommendations for exposureEffectively evaluates complex business arrangements and structures; able to dive deep into the background and operations of a merchant.Recommend and establish appropriate credit limits and collateral to minimize and manage risk; Position may be granted credit authorityCommunicates effectively and professionally with internal and external clientsExercises sound judgment in assessing potential regulatory and reputational risksMonitors and communicates credit concerns to managementRole is hybrid and requires 2-3 days in officeWhere you'll own itYou'll own it in our Cincinnati or Atlanta hub. While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.What you bringSkills and expertise needed to perform the job requirements listed above, at minimum:7-10 years of experience analyzing and spreading financial statements, performing credit analysis and drafting credit memosEffective communication skills; attention to detailStrong judgment and decision-making skillsSelf-starter, able to work independently; possesses a strong sense of ownershipAbility to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectivesTime management skills with ability to multitaskPreferred Additional Requirements:Knowledge of merchant acquiring services and the payment processing industryDegree in Finance, Accounting, or similar formal credit trainingWhat makes a WorldpayerAt Worldpay, we take our Values seriously, and we live them every day.
