Nursery Caretaker Job DescriptionDallas Animal Services is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team in caring for neonate kittens and puppies. This position is crucial in providing around-the-clock care. Neonate puppies and kittens range in age from less than one week old to a couple of months of age. These are young, delicate animals, whose survival often depends on human assistance and care. Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred (optional):Demonstrated Microsoft Office skillsBS or MS in a biological scienceExperience working in an animal facility or Veterinary HospitalKnowledge in animal facility operationsKnowledge of animal health and management issues
