About the roleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our systems infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems and networks are efficient, secure, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain the company's systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and networking components.Monitor system performance and reliability, and troubleshoot issues as needed.Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure smooth integration of applications and services.Implement security best practices and protocols to safeguard company data and systems.Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements.Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity.Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT professionals.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role in IT.Strong knowledge of system and network administration, including Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security principles.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
