Our repeat global client is looking for a VP of Real Estate Development. This individual will be a high-level individual contributor and will lead new development projects from concept to completion. There is a substantial amount of growth potential with this organization, and our client is extremely financially stable. This VP will lead with team members on acquisition, city/county coordination, site and building design, permitting, design meetings, construction administration and acts as the representative of the company.Qualifications/Skillsets:
Experience working with the leading developers on commercial office, shopping center/power malls, mixed use, hospitality/hotel, industrial and/or apartment projects.Someone who has expertise on the West Coast.This talent will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the business needs of the company to align project requirements, cost projections, construction objectives and profit goals with each project.The VP will have collaboration with various departments throughout the development process to ensure timely completion of all objectives.Oversee the entitlement, design, construction, and scheduling processes of each project.This top candidate will need feasibility modeling background, including capital costs budgeting, pro forma return and valuation methodologies.It is important that the VP understands project entitlements and implementation of approval requirements.Ground up construction background is needed.This VP candidate will have worked multiple complex entitlement and development projects simultaneously with a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
