Under supervision, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant III assists in the delivery of care to patients in an ambulatory multi-specialty group practice. Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes. S/he will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the primary and specialty care services provided to patients within the practice. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center. Must be able to work at any UCSF site.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Required Qualifications
Certification from an approved Medical Assistant program; or equivalent combination of training and experience.Minimum of three months experience as a Medical Assistant in General Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology clinical practice.Current TB test.Current CPR license.Experience with Epic health record computer systems.Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.Preferred Qualifications
