to work in their facility.Salary ranges up to $120K depending on experienceResponsibilities of the Director of Nursing:Supervises all nursing staff in the facilityDevelopment and implementation of nursing policy and procedureOverseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staffEnsuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain currentOverseeing nursing employee conductBeing knowledgeable of incidents at the facilityAssessing the health needs of each residentRequirements of the Director of Nursing:Must have Illinois RN licenseMust have prior experience as a Director of NursingMust have an Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing schoolFive years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperior project management and decision-making skillsDemonstrated success in operational process improvement and performance management
