Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the Quality Engineering and automation process and culture. This is an SDET testing role focused on building out test automation and processes to ensure the quality of Broadridge internally written applications. The ideal candidate will aid with the current transition off manual testing and over to automated testing.

Work-Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:

Define test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for QA/QE testing with a focus on automation.Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency.Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.Execute manual and automated test cases and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform.Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures.Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.Support QA/QE Tools and activities as needed.Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as QA Engineer, or SDETHands-on experience with Java or Selenium.Working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology.Performing functional and UI testing, quality reporting.Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD) using Cucumber/Jbehave.In-depth usage and creation of automation framework for testing JSON, Rest/SOAP based Web ServicesExperience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designProficiency in UI automation (Serenity/Selenium, Robot, Watir)Proficient knowledge and experience in the following tools: Gradle, Maven, Git, Bit bucket, JIRA, Confluence, ALM, Xray or ALM, Xray or any relevant Test management tool

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work under tight deadlines and within a team environment.UFT/Selenium experience in building object repositories, standard & custom checkpoints, parameterization, reusable functions and recovery scenarios. Knowledge of VBScript, C#, Java, HTML, and SQL.Experience using GITHUB or other Version Control Systems.Knowledge on multiple languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js),Knowledge on technologies like AWS S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudwatchIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems or related fieldBE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA from a reputed institute.

Salary Range: 100,000 – 110,000.00 USD annual
