To fuel our growth, we are placing an even greater emphasis on being a data-driven organization.Role Summary:The Enterprise Business Analytics (EBA) group is responsible for providing analytical business solutions to the bank. We translate data into actionable analytical solutions and promote information-based decision-making to support our strategic goals. One responsibility of the group is to create analytical solutions that can be deployed to a sales audience. We partner with sales leaders to translate business questions into requirements, identify relevant data sources, create business logic, and deploy solutions in the form of dashboards.We are looking for a Senior Data Science Analyst that will help us uncover the information hidden in data and assist in making smarter decisions to deliver even better products by collaborating with sales leaders, product advisors, data scientists, data engineers, and others. Your primary focus will be on applying data engineering techniques, conducting statistical analysis, and identifying data insights.What you'll be doing:Work with product sales leadership and EBA data scientists to document and deliver on their data and analytical needs.Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to propose repeatable and automated solutions.Develop and automate reports, iteratively building and prototyping solutions to provide insights at scale that address product sales priorities.Synthesize data analysis into easily understandable stories for stakeholders.Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner that your business partners can understand and use.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Operational Research.4+ years of experience in analytics and/or business intelligence.Exposure to techniques for ETL and data cleansing.Experience with Python, R, SAS, or SQL.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.Nice to Have:Ability to translate between business questions/objectives and data/analytical terms.Strong communication and collaboration skills across different business units.Background in data management in the Banking/Finance industry is a plus.Demonstrated ability to self-manage and multitask in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
