Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: Full Time only

From Day 1 onsite

Skills Required:DevOps with strong hands-on knowledge in Open Source products, CI/CD, Git/Github, Release Engineering, Linux, Python, JavaScript, Bash, and Python scripts.

Required Skills:As this role requires interaction with external users and contributors, we're looking for someone who has strong communication skills. Our project requires the ability to answer questions and possibly close out user requests for features or contributions diplomatically.

BA/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degreeHands-on experience in Python/JavaScriptExperience working on large software projectsExperience working with CI infrastructure and testingAbility to troubleshoot and debug basic infrastructure failures and build breakagesAbility to learn quicklyOverall Responsibilities:Facilitate Agile Release Train events and processes and assist teams in delivering value by communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, managing risk, and driving relentless improvement.Work closely with Google's TensorFlow Extended (TFX) Development team and Product Managers to understand product roadmaps and release cadence.Plan and coordinate the release schedules for TensorFlow Extended (TFX) and its libraries such as TensorFlow Data Validation (TFDV), TensorFlow Model Analysis (TFMA), TensorFlow Transform (TFT), TensorFlow Metadata (TFMD), TFX Basic Shared Libraries (TFX-BSL), and ML Metadata (MLMD).Define best practices in Release Engineering using various tools to ensure the product is released using consistent and repeatable methodologies.Create and update the Release Instructions document for TFX and its libraries.Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.Design and develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for automating the Software Development Life Cycle using DevOps tools.
