is a unique and well-reputed, recently renovated GP practice nestled atop a hill in the small, beautiful mining town of Grass Valley, California!Why join us as a Veterinarian?Established in the community for almost 30 years, we carry an excellent name in the community having won Best of Nevada County 3 years running!We are proud to partner with several rescue organizations while offering financial resources to help when pets are in need .Our passionate team is made up of 7 Doctors working in a highly collaborative environment with an average staffing ratio of 4:1 support staff to doctors .Well established in mentorship and teaching . All of our veterinarians have successfully transitioned from large animal practice to excellent small animal medicine and surgery through internal mentorship and support.Traveling specialist relationships : Surgical team (2x monthly), Cardiologist (monthly), Internal medicine Specialist (PRN)Latest & Greatest Technology : Ultrasound, digital X-ray, handheld digital dental X-ray, class 4 cold laser, electrocautery, ligature, specialty dental and orthopedic surgical equipment, full array of in house lab equipment.Our hospital culture and team are hands down AMAZING ! The emotional and physical well-being of our employees is important to us. Depending on the employee's status, benefits include medical coverage (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and more! The base salary for this position can range between $120,000 - $165,000 annually for a 40-hour work week (4 tens) and will be determined based on previous experience, skill set, and practice type.
