Senior (8 to 10 years)Overview:Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to elevate their systems and processes. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, deployment, and operation of critical systems that enhance software development and deployment. Your work will focus on automating deployments, resolving technical issues, and refining infrastructure for optimal scalability and performance.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with teams to research, design, and implement systems that improve efficiency and reliability. You will automate deployment processes, create tools for incremental updates, and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments. Your role will also involve refining infrastructure for scalability, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to security best practices.Top 3 Required Skills:AWS Full Stack Knowledge:
Expertise in developing AWS templates from scratch to production deployments, with AWS certifications highly preferred.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Experience in creating Jenkins jobs for building and deploying applications.Security Best Practices & Monitoring Tools:
Proficient in using tools like Datadog and New Relic for monitoring and logging.Nice to Have Skills:Networking expertiseProgramming/Scripting abilitiesStrong collaboration skillsEducation:Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills & Abilities:Solid grasp of agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and automation tools.Strong organizational and collaboration abilities across various business units and stakeholders.Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.Proficiency in open-source technologies and cloud services.Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues.Experience:Typically, 5-6+ years of related experience, with a strong background in agile methodologies, development processes, and automation tools.
