Job Description:

Sr. Project Manager - Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC)

In order to be considered to join our AEC Practice you must have a strong desire to work on complex facilities design projects with in house multi-discipline, architecture & engineering & construction teams. Our projects are concentrated in the Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Life Science manufacturing sectors.

In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Design Project Manager, who loves the challenge of developing high quality construction documents, delivering high quality, on-time and on (or under) budget, from concept to commercialization for complex manufacturing facility operations.

The primary goal of the Sr. Project Manager is to lead the execution of projects (including civil, structural, architecture, MEP, fire protection, refrigeration, process, packaging and CSI disciplines) by managing the client, the client communications, scope, schedule, risk, and budget to produce the highest quality work product in the most efficient manner.

Project Leadership: Take a leadership role in planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

Multi-Discipline Design: Manage multi-discipline engineering and architecture design aspects of manufacturing facility projects, coordinating teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including codes and standards specific to manufacturing facilities.

Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software including REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks for design review.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical insights, and develop solutions that align with their goals.

Quality Assurance: Follow quality control processes to ensure that project designs meet the highest standards and client expectations.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of designs into larger projects.

Business Development: Foster existing client relationships by building trust, identify opportunities for additional services, and participate in the preparation of project proposals.

What You’ll Bring

10+ years hands-on experience with project management and engineering design.

Experience within a multi-discipline engineering and architecture design firm highly desired.

Project management experience with Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or Life Science sector manufacturing clients is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance specific to manufacturing facilities, with the ability to ensure code adherence.

Familiar with industry-standard software, such as REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Willingness to travel for project requirements, including construction, start-up activities, client meetings, company-sponsored meetings, training, industry-related seminars.

BS or MS in an Engineering discipline, Architecture or Building Construction Management.

Professional Engineering (PE) license or a registered architect license is preferred.
