Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt)(Non-Union)ApplyKeck Medicine of USCHospitalLos Angeles, CaliforniaThe Kidney Transplant Outreach Coordinator works in collaboration with dialysis centers and referring providers to generate and support kidney transplant referrals. The Coordinator serves as a resource to dialysis centers, their social workers, and referring partners, and will be expected to be in the field three to four days a week meeting with these entities to provide education, patient updates, and reports promoting kidney transplant and living donation.Monthly reports and summaries will be generated and sent to Transplant Leadership on the productivity of the outreach. The Coordinator will collaborate with Transplant Leadership and the Kidney Transplant Staff to ensure information is communicated appropriately. They will also update and maintain kidney transplant education materials, marketing materials, and event information to current times and will be responsible for providing these materials to dialysis centers and referring partners.Essential Duties:Community Outreach:

Visits dialysis centers and referring partners three to four days a week to build and maintain positive relations, increase referrals, provide education, and mitigate issues. Maintains point of contact for the dialysis centers and ensures availability of their time.Education and Training Development:

Provides support, education, and advocacy to patients and potential donors. Develops kidney transplant and living kidney donation education materials in collaboration with transplant leadership.Collaboration with Transplant Team:

Manages challenges/conflict and escalates to transplant leadership when necessary. Collaborates with the kidney transplant team to improve work processes and maintain good communication.Documentation:

Provides support in the screening of re-referrals and collaborates with the intake team to ensure effectiveness of referrals. Responsible for following the USC KNOWN standards and advocating for USC Kidney Transplant and Living Kidney Donation.Performs other duties as assigned and as needed.Minimum Education:High school or equivalentMinimum Experience/Knowledge:Req Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare related field requiredPref Master's degree in Business Marketing or in a Healthcare related field, strongly preferredReq Minimum of three years experience in dialysis, or kidney transplant and kidney living donationReq Minimum of three years outreach and marketing experienceReq Provides a patient-oriented attitude with strong advocacy skills for transplant and donationReq Has strong negotiation skills, is reliable, and adapts easily to changeReq Excellent in building relationships and rapportRequired License/Certification:Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) - If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Salary Range:The annual base salary range for this position is $68,640.00- $112,370.00.REQ20133119
