$18.00-$21.00/ Per HourAbout this opportunity:This position is responsible for performing advanced and complex clerical accounting/financial functions under limited supervision including record-keeping and reporting for a multitude of accounts.Key responsibilities:Sets-up account payable accounts and processes all check requests in compliance with tight deadlines, budget constraints, and established guidelines.Serves as liaison to the divisions or outside contacts on a daily basis in order to provide timely information regarding the status of accounts and check requests.What we are looking for in you:High school diploma or G.E.D ANDFive years’ experience performing progressively responsible accounting and/or bookkeeping work with limited supervision preferably within The Salvation Army, ORAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Applicants may be tested to ascertain qualifications.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
