Desktop Administrator

Infosys is seeking EUC Desktop Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all end users technology issues. You will play an instrumental role for the successful delivery of IT end user support, IT relocation projects, IT asset management and undertaking the full audit and preliminary works promptly and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily IT support tickets, monitoring the ticket queue and managing requests through to completionSupport the companys equipment needs through setup and disbursement of desktop and laptop computer systems company-widePerform routine updates to equipment and devicesResolve employee technology issues; Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers and peripheralsInteract with employees to assist in troubleshooting to identify the root cause of system problemsProvide remote desktop supportHardware Inventory management ensuring stock levels are constantly monitored and updatedHousekeeping on IT roomsSupporting events like annual Power down post desk checkouts (PC/monitors/Mouse + Keyboard/desk phone/headset/webcam), business/office movements, training rooms etc.Supports hardware decommissioning eventsPatching of end user devicesSoftware packaging and deployments to end user machinesPerform basic troubleshooting, system upgrades and replacements for employeesOn-call and after-hours support will be provided on an as-needed basisQualifications:1+ years of experience in end user compute EUC experienceKnowledge of Windows operating system and computer hardware.Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system and general support processes/proceduresBasic knowledge of Networks, Security, WAN, LAN, WiFi setupProven ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.PowerShell scripting experience will be a plusExperience in the financial industry will be a plusThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
