It is preferred that this person would live near an airport as the position requires 95% overnight travel.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide coverage for Leaves of Absences, typically 4 weeks or longer (can be up to or exceed 3 consecutive months), for Sales Representatives in the region.Work directly with Sales Representatives within a region to aid in the planning, directing, and coordination of selling, marketing, and a portion of Stryker products.Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.Promote Stryker products while providing excellent customer service and developing customer relationships.After extensive product training, tailor Stryker’s promotional message based on knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, and answer customer questions.May direct product evaluations in OR and office settings.May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.Keep sales representatives informed of territory progress on a regular basis.Resolve product problems for customers promptly.May assist in the training and development of sales personnel.Understand and adhere to all OR and OSHA guidelines when conducting product evaluations.Exhibit a base understanding of computers for best utilization of Stryker SIS program.Adhere to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA.Education & Special Trainings:Bachelor’s Degree required.Qualifications & Experience:2+ years of proven work experience, preferably in medical-related fields.Prior sales or marketing experience preferred.Ability to resolve customer complaints and questions effectively.Command of all products sold or marketed by the business unit.Ability to analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly.Percent of Travel:95% overnight; must be able to drive an automobile.Mental Requirements:Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.Manage time, projects, stress, and conflict effectively.Possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.Bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.Prioritize work and maintain detailed and confidential records.Communicate/present to large groups of people.Exhibit unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment.12-month commitment to the role to allow for coverage and consistency.Blood Borne Pathogen:Category A Position.Salary:

$70,000 - $77,000 plus bonus-eligible and benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.
