As an Intelligence Planner for the Joint Staff, you will use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to assist in campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.As an Intelligence Planner on our team, you will provide support for developing, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the Centers’ support to CCMD planning activities. You will provide input throughout all planning functions from translating strategic guidance, through concept and plan development, to plan assessments and associated functions. As the authority on your target, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. The world can’t wait.You Have:Knowledge of Joint Intelligence Exercise Planning conceptsKnowledge of the MENA Area of ResponsibilityAbility to support and advise senior defense officialsActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examHS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-level, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with supporting intelligence planning, including at the CCMD-levelNice If You Have:3+ years of experience with developing intelligence annexes, appendices, and other strategic documents, such as the Joint Strategic Intelligence Estimate (JSIE) or Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)Experience in the intelligence communityAbility to brief senior defense and government officialsPossession of strong oral and written communication skillsCompletion of DoD Intelligence Planning CoursesClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.Grow With UsYour growth matters to us—that’s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD).
