While our offices are in Denver, Colorado, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, we currently are operating remotely with a nationally-distributed team.Job SummaryThis position calls for a DevOps Engineer who exemplifies our core values, works well with leadership and fellow engineering team members, and brings practical experience in development and maintenance of a cloud-based software platform. This role will help advance DevOps practices in support of multiple software engineering teams and provides a wealth of opportunity for learning, professional growth, and collaboration. Flexibility when working with both manual and automated processes is required with a desire and ability to improve processes through automation. The DevOps Engineer will utilize strong written communication skills to follow and complete detailed requests, track changes made to various systems, and create documentation. As a core member of the Operations team, the DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted availability of multiple Concept3D software applications.As a DevOps Engineer, you will report directly to the Systems Operations Manager, who will be primarily responsible for providing direction and evaluating your performance.ResponsibilitiesImplement Continuous Delivery and execute automated or manual deployments for development, test, and production environments, create CI/CD pipelinesAdminister, maintain, and troubleshoot Ubuntu Linux based systemsManage manual and automated changes through Development, QA, and Production environmentsWork closely with software engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirementsActively participate in agile planning and release processesEmploy continuous learning to grow professional and domain expertiseBe available to support occasional deployments during after-hours maintenance windowsProvide occasional on-call support to quickly address and resolve critical production issues outside of regular business hoursOther duties as assignedWho You Are (do you identify with a majority of these?)You have knowledge of industry best practices for DevOps in a cloud computing environmentYou are organized, methodical, and consistentYou have a desire to work on rich, interactive web applications in the cloudYou have experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)You have experience working with Docker based container deploymentsYou have experience with monitoring and alertingYou have experience with agile software development and working as part of a collaborative agile teamYou are motivated to automate manual tasksYou have worked in an environment that follows CI/CD practicesYou have experience learning and using a variety of open-source technologies and toolsYou have strong attention to detail and can maintain consistency between development and production environmentsYou have knowledge of SOC 2 or other security frameworks and experience with vulnerability scanning and/or application security testing

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $80,000- $120,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certification.
