We’re looking for a systems administrator who can lead a small team in configuring, deploying, and maintaining Windows desktop images and supported applications to help us provide compliant, secure, and highly performant endpoints that are centrally managed using leading edge tools.As a lead systems administrator on our project, you’ll provide technical support for protecting critical information, systems, and assets. You will build vital solutions, rapidly troubleshoot issues, and implement new software and hardware. You’ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission critical networks. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to lead development in virtual machines, MECM, and distributed network environments. The world can’t wait.You Have:4+ years of experience with IT systems support, including Tier I and Tier II customer services and incident and problem managementExperience managing enterprise applications and services, SCCM and MECM or MCM, and providing configuration and troubleshooting support to DoD365 customersExperience with the management of both physical and virtual workstations, servers, and network resources, including build, configure, and manage devices in a LAN or WAN topographyExperience with DoD environments, standards, processes, and policies, and the implementation of industry best practices for hardware, software, and system performance and securityKnowledge of Microsoft Directory Services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management, and Certificate servicesAbility to communicate, collaborate, and solve complex problems with innovative solutionsTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDDoD 8570 Compliant IAT level II CertificationCompletion of Compute Environment TrainingNice If You Have:Experience with IT Project Management and various methodologiesExperience with collaboration software, email services, and cloud technologiesExperience using vulnerability and compliance tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)Experience administering Linux or UNIX systemsKnowledge of ITIL standards of serviceKnowledge of programming languages, including PowerShell, Python, or BashBachelor’s degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
