We are a focused team within AIG extracting insights from data to enable better decision-making, provide better service and experience, and drive business growth. The team leverages latest technologies and approaches to solve business problems, optimize processes and improve organizational performance. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Partner with product managers, senior business leaders, data/analytics/ML engineers and software developers to identify, deploy and monitor impactful data science solutions.Project Management:

Prioritize, plan and drive development and successful deployment of data science projects from identification of use cases to implementation of models. Define and monitor KPIs to continually measure outcomes and model performance.Advancing Capabilities:

Develop internal assets, source external solution providers, and create partnerships that mature advanced analytics tools and methods to deliver actionable insights. Stay current with emerging technologies and techniques and evaluate and guide fit with organizational technical architecture, capabilities, and strategy.Model Governance:

Collaborate with privacy, legal and regulatory teams to develop, establish and ensure compliance in the ethical use of data science models. Define, document, and enforce best practices for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.Hands on Experience:

Contribute to day-to-day direction of multiple components of Data Science activities.

What you will need to succeed

12+ years in data science8+ years in financial services or insurance5+ years in management/leadershipMinimum of Master, Preferred PhD in a relevant field or proven record of driving cross discipline solutions in AI, RPA, and digital solutionsExpertise in data analysis, deep/machine learning, statistical modeling and with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompting or fine-tuningExperience with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, AWS SageMaker or others with AI/ML and cognitive services from a cloud providerExpertise in developing and deploying end-to-end AI/ML solutionsExperience with NLP/NLU/Generative/Conversational AI technologies and methodologiesProficiency in Python, R, or Java and relevant frameworks and librariesStrong data manipulation abilities using for example Pandas, NumPy and SQLExperience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or SparkAbility to conceptualize and deploy complex machine analytic and learning models using Agile methods as well as in collaboration in a highly matrix organizational structureExcellent project management skills with a proven track record delivering at speed and scale impactful data science solutions on time and within budgetStrong communication skills to articulate value and method of data science solutions to both non-technical and technical audienceAbility to lead, motivate and create joint movementAbility to travel as needed
