Join us!Position Summary:We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join our CashPro App (Mobile) team at Bank of America. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Native Mobile developer having the required skills and experience needed to be a senior member on a high-performing agile team, working on the Mobile channel for CashPro ecosystem. We are on a multi-year modernization journey that will include re-architecting the App to a modern technology stack for increased security, scalability, and availability to meet our increasingly demanding environment. Key success criteria for the modernization effort include quality of service and security. This role will work in the capacity of individual contributor, actively contributing towards the key success criteria mentioned. This position will be tasked with leading an agile team of developers, planning, and executing the day-to-day activities of the team, leading to the delivery of software into the production environment in time with quality.The Software Engineer III will work closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, QA Lead, agile team members, and technology manager to ensure all delivery goals are met while maintaining all agile metrics within defined thresholds. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Android/Kotlin (required), Java (required), Angular (required), Restful Services (required), SWIFT/iOS (required), Global commercial banking and investment Payment processing domain knowledge (required), Agile work environment (required), and be adept at problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a highly matrixed and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:This is a senior developer role, expected to lead and mentor a team of junior to mid-level developers in an agile scrum team environment.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Mobile app Architecture, Design, and development, with emphasis on Android SDK, Kotlin, SWIFT, and Java technologies.Serve as a single point of contact for release planning and orchestration.Serve as a SME on publishing and maintaining the App in Apple, Google, and Samsung app stores.Will be expected to learn new technologies on the job, for example, Mule, Database.Work with other leads across teams to coordinate delivery.Serve as a SME on agile delivery process.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.12+ years of development experience in Android/iOS/Java.Expert level knowledge in building high traffic, secure, scalable, robust banking applications for commercial clients.Domain knowledge and experience working in the financial industry, specifically on commercial banking.Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Mojo (GCIBT custom mobile development framework).5+ years of work experience in an Agile environment. Work history of participating in daily agile routines and estimation of stories with minimal direction.Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing hybrid Mobile applications using Cordova or other plug-ins.5+ years of hands-on experience in building high traffic, high resilient applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Mule tech stack.5+ years of hands-on experience with building application prototypes and involved in research on analysis on upcoming Mobile OS and features including new devices.4+ years of hands-on experience with building wearable (iOS and Android Watch) apps and widget integration.5+ Skilled in architecting mobile apps for Global Commercial and investment banking, and global banking payment industry requirements for security, compliance, and customer experience and ability to implement advanced encryption, biometric authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), tokenization, and secure data storage mechanisms to ensure secure transactions and protect user data.Strong knowledge in implementing security features like Anti-tampering, malware detection using third-party libraries.Proficient in integrating front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular) and integrating them with backend services to build cohesive, performant mobile and web applications.Required Technologies:Languages:
