IT Project Senior Tech Lead - C14 - CHARLOTTE

The IT Project Sr Tech Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business and necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. It primarily affects a sub-function and is responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation, and planning.Has significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.Possesses an understanding of client core business functions.Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership.Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:10+ years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in the overall field.

Education:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially a Master’s degree.

Experience with projects implementing ERPs like SAP or Oracle. Experience with governance function to ensure projects are in compliance with Enterprise standards.
