Conducts chart reviews utilizing criteria approved by the Medicine Committee for the Mid-level Quality Assurance Program and for Peer Review in the clinic setting in order to identify opportunities for improving the quality of patient care and site readiness. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: RequiredFive years' technical experience: PreferredOne year's leadership experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredEssential Functions:Ensures resources are managed appropriately and patients receive quality care, including initiating actions for resolutions, maintaining nursing standards of care and participating in updating policies and procedures.Develops action plans in conjunction with clinical staff and the site manager to correct any deficiencies identified on an ongoing basis in order to maintain regulatory compliance. Develops schedules and coverage plans and acts as a clinical and systems resource for staff.Assesses patients according to department standards and anticipates changes in patients' status. Identifies obvious as well as subtle patient problems and/or abnormal assessments and appropriately reports and resolves.Develops plan of care based on age-specific assessment. Involves patient and family and interdisciplinary resources to develop and revise the plan of care. Uses action plans, goals, and time frames to produce desired patient outcomes.Conducts chart audits to identify improvement opportunities. Monitors regulatory readiness standards against chart audits and improvement activities so that the clinic consistently meets regulatory requirements.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
