is a 130-bed facility with inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. We strive for excellence, never losing sight of providing patients with hope - hope that although their stay is relatively brief, they may find their way to a brighter future.BASIC FUNCTION:Responsible for delivering nursing care to children and adolescents from the ages of 5-18 years and adults age 18-65+ that is congruent with the philosophy and standards of practice defined by the Nursing Department. Provides for the continuity of care of assigned patients and uses the nursing process and a holistic conceptual framework in the development of nursing care plans that address self-care limitations in behavior and interpersonal functioning. Directs and guides activities of paraprofessional staff in the implementation of nursing care plans.Internally, the incumbent will interface with hospital management, staff, and patients.
