Implementation Specialist

Fire Safety and Protection is seeking an experienced Vista System Support and Implementation Specialist to become an important part of a rapidly growing team. The Vista System Support and Implementation Specialist will report to the Senior Systems Administrator and is responsible for assistance with the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of Vista by Viewpoint construction management software. This role involves collaborating with various branches and departments to understand business needs, customize the system, provide technical support, and ensure that the Vista system is effectively utilized to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

System Implementation:

Assist the implementation of Vista by Viewpoint system, including planning, configuration, and deployment.Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into system functionalities.Customize the Vista system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up workflows, forms, and reports.Coordinate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful system rollout.

System Support:

Provide day-to-day support for Vista system users, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.Coordinate regular system maintenance, including testing software updates and patch management.Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure system reliability.Assist in the integration of Vista with other enterprise systems and data sources and reporting tools.

Training & Documentation:

Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Vista system.Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and system configuration records.Stay updated on new Vista features and functionalities, and proactively communicate updates to the relevant teams.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process improvements using the Vista system and other tools.Recommend and implement best practices for system usage, data management, and reporting.Work with finance and other departments to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency.

Project Management:

Manage Vista system-related projects, including new module implementations, system upgrades, and integration projects.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.Communicate project status and key milestones to stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing any risks or issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ERP system implementation and support, preferably with Vista by Viewpoint.Strong understanding of construction management processes and how they are supported by ERP systems.Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint system configuration, customization, and support.Experience with SQL and report writing tools, such as Crystal Reports or SSRS.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong project management skills, with experience leading system implementation projects.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Minimum travel required.Work full-time.On site, hybrid, or fully remote.
