Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this faculty member is to coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School’s pharmacotherapeutics course sequence both in the traditional and online pathways. Additionally, other coursework may be assigned at the discretion of the Chair of Pharmacy Practice. Furthermore, the faculty member will maintain a clinical practice in ambulatory care and act as a preceptor for the School’s students for both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences.

1.0 FTE Faculty, Clinical-track

Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and qualifications.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

The completion of a PGY1 residency, and preferably also a PGY2 residency.

Experience in internal medicine.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to utilize various software programs.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and deliver instruction throughout the School’s pharmacotherapeutics course sequence and maintain a clinical practice while acting as a preceptor to the School’s students.

Participate in committee assignments as required by the School.

Engage in community service in accordance with the mission of D’Youville.

Participate in scholarship and research that align with the area of specialty, satisfying expectations for renewal and promotion.

Serve as an advisor to Pharm.D students.

$90,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year

Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and qualifications. The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
