ACCOUNTS PAYABLE LEAD

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures AP inquiries are resolved promptly and accurately.Maintains monthly A/P related reporting and account reconciliations.Executes vendor payments through checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.Manages the positive pay processes.Establishes new vendor accounts associated with acquisitions and new business development.Obtains and maintains Vendor W9s.Creates and files annual 1099s.Oversees monthly P-Card analysis and reporting.Assists in the credit application process.Supports the annual audit of the accounts payable processes.Performs periodic vendor contract compliance reviews.Lead automation & buildout of A/P process for the company.KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT THE JOB:5-8 years of experience in Accounts payable.Proficient with Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or NAV systems (Preferred)Experience working within a private company environment (Preferred)JOB TYPE:
