Job Title: DTECH Project Engineer USA

Job Summary:

Responsible for the technical completion of the project, communicating needs and progressing the engineering solutions for small or medium size projects, products or workstreams. Provide technical guidance and leadership. Provide assistance to external customers as required. Fast-paced commercial product development organization that serves primarily a defense customer base. May be part of a matrixed product IPT and may be part of a functionally directed team. This position typically works under general supervision and direction, and incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and some decision-making authority associated with the technical scope.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Primary role to support maintenance and sustainment of existing products as they require upgrades and/or updates using a well-defined engineering development process.Demonstrated ability to create and manage schedules in an Agile environment using traditional waterfall milestones.Assist the Product Managers with technical issues.Support the project team in defining and documenting any issues.Deliver engineering solutions that meet schedule and agreed scope.Interface with customers (internal or external) on engineering requirements, issues, planning and status updates.Support and monitor cross-team collaboration using tools such as Teams.Support and monitor software development work activities and status using tools such as Jira.Support collaborations with internal departments, customer representatives, third party suppliers and other stakeholders in support of issue resolution.Work with functional engineering managers to support customer needs with additional resources.Communicate with customers and engineering to troubleshoot issues, isolate the root cause, and deliver solutions or implement workarounds.Document all relevant details from the initial report of an issue, through troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.Analyze and troubleshoot complex customer issues; working directly with Product Managers and Engineering when issues must be escalated.Respond to customers (internal and external) in a professional and timely manner to deliver workarounds and solutions for complex technical problems.This is an on-site position, 9/80 schedule.Minimum Job Requirements:Four-year college degree in engineering or related technical discipline plus two years of related experience. Experience in creating, analyzing, documenting and tracking engineering development efforts. Project management experience a requirement. Mental ability to perform engineering problem solving and analytical tasks. Must be able to work under project deadlines and be able to support Product Team in the establishment and maintenance of engineering project schedules and cost budgets. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Must have some leadership experience working with and building teams. Must be a US citizen, eligible for DoD security clearance.Discriminators:

Jira expertise, Project Management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), SAP exposure.Cubic Pay Range:$90,000 – 115,910 + benefits.*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
