02 - AFSCMEIn the Administrative Analyst role, you will monitor expenditures, report variances, and prepare budget-related reports. You will also be an agreement administrator for several contracts within the department, which requires you to monitor the contracts, their budgets, deliverables, and invoice processing. You will also handle monthly reporting for General Manager (GM) reports (GM monthly report, department metrics, bi-annual production reports, etc.), and develop, monitor, and enhance reporting tools. Additionally, you may participate on project teams by monitoring project plans, tasks, work breakdown structures, cost estimates, budgets, schedule performance, deliverables, and resources.The Administrative Analyst must use initiative and judgment in providing support on (time sensitive) assignments in our collaborative environment. You will demonstrate your ability to build strong working relationships, communicate effectively, be attentive to detail, and have strong organization skills. Effectively working in a partnership environment is important for this department.Schedule:

44/36, Monday through Friday / Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Start times are 7am-4:30pm M-Th & 7am-3:30pm Every other Friday.Hybrid:

Metropolitan's current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years relevant experience; or four years as a MWD Administrative Assistant III.Relevant Experience is defined as:

experience with contract administration, budget processing, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, and Word).CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTSLicense(s):
