We need an experienced front-end developer who will guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in the Intelligence Community by collaborating with a development team to build applications with user-centric design.On our team, you'll coordinate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using React and HTML5 UI Frameworks. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. The world can't wait.You Have:10+ years of experience with UI development and design10+ years of experience with version control systems, including GitExperience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience working with RESTful APIs and integrating backend servicesKnowledge of React and its ecosystemAbility to customize UI for mission or site needsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelExperience with popular React.js workflowsExperience with HTML5 UI frameworks for building interactive and high-performance applicationsExperience with newer specifications of 508-ComplianceKnowledge of React.js and its core principlesKnowledge of RESTful APIsKnowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web TokenClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
