We are looking to hire a cyber security engineer with a detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies. To ensure success, a cyber security engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, Forensics, SQL injection attacks, OWASP, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting of the network.
Cyber Security Engineer Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge and understanding of both network and application layer firewall technologies.
Prior hands-on professional experience with Enterprise Class firewalls.
Ability to apply knowledge and experience to manage complex firewall policies in an enterprise environment.
Experience with VPN tunneling and administration.
Understanding of enterprise level network operations including but not limited to route, switch, segmentation and filtering technologies in traditional and virtualized environments.
Strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
Experience with the following:
Payment processing
Security
POS Hardware device scanners
PII compliance
