This is a Full-Time position with the Department of Social Services. The position is based in Pierre with a starting salary of $78,941 - $89,700 plus generous vacation leave, medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

DSS is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Administrator. This unique position provides oversight and support for electronic benefit transfer (EBT) issuance, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), and recovery and fraud investigation (ORFI) programs. Responsibilities:

Oversight of the Office of Recoveries and Fraud Investigations, Electronic Benefits Transfer, and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation.Supervision of program staff.Develop and manage program budget.Develop and implement program policies and procedures.Communicate and meet program goals and initiatives.Stay current on applicable federal and state laws, policies, and rules.Write contracts.Take initiative to continuously refine and upgrade investigative and administrative skills and knowledge.

Experience supervising and managing employees.Experience managing a budget.Ability to set and meet program goals and objectives.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Ability to adapt and prioritize.

Investigation techniques and collection procedures.Applicable federal and state laws and regulations.Principles, practices, and methods of program administration.Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
