This is a hybrid role in either location.Note: This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain US federal government security clearance (secret level or higher).ABOUT THE TEAMOracle’s Business Assessment & Audit team (BA&A) is responsible for providing enterprise risk management services on behalf of the executive management team and board of Oracle Corporation as well as its publicly traded subsidiaries. These responsibilities are performed through conducting broad business risk-based audits (operational/financial/IT/compliance-focused) of Oracle’s global processes and subsidiaries.POSITION OVERVIEWProactively develop and analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders, BA&A team members, and BA&A leadership, focusing on business performance and identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.Spearhead innovation and generate business insights through existing and new data and business intelligence technologies. Train team members on various data analytics topics, including updating process documents/SOPs and the library of use cases.Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to verify data quality and pull needed information.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the planning, development, and execution of data analysis (data cleaning, preparation, visualizations, etc.) for audit projects, including oversight of junior staff.Support the existing data analytics environment and Visualization/Reporting Dashboard environments.Develop, deploy, and maintain analytical procedures using analytics tools, programming languages, and Data Visualization (DV) technologies to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency.Pilot and deploy advanced data analytics tools & techniques using artificial intelligence and machine learning.Train users, document analytical procedures, and report engagement progress to audit management and business stakeholders.Assist in obtaining data from various company systems and design analytical procedures that support conclusions and process improvement initiatives.Engage with the technical team to understand source data, data flows/system maps, and various applications.Work closely with technical/functional experts in LOB’s/IT teams to support Internal Audit objectives.PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field preferred.At least 8 years of data analytics experience supporting business process and/or operational audits.Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) in English.Competent interpersonal skills, able to lead projects and mentor others.Ability to evaluate business processes and IT technology, identify risks, and evaluate controls.Ability to translate business needs into viable solutions.Organizational and time management skills.Experience with Microsoft Office suite and data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, IDEA, Excel, Tableau).Ability to code in SQL and Python required.CISA or relevant professional certifications preferred.Ability to travel up to 10%.Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.US: Hiring Range: from $109,100 to $223,500 per annum.
