Job ID: 2756393 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team and lead the development of our mission-critical testing platform for AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable and robust testing infrastructure to support the software development lifecycle of all AWS DMS products.
AWS DMS is a critical service used by customers worldwide to migrate their most important data from on-premises data centers to Amazon cloud services. Your work on the testing platform will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and resilience of the AWS DMS offering.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address testing needs, and continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes. Your technical leadership and mentorship will be invaluable in driving the development of our scalable testing platform.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.7+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.Experience as a mentor or tech lead.Knowledge of software engineering best practices.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:7+ years of full software development life cycle experience.Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and containerization technologies.Knowledge of security testing and performance testing methodologies.Experience in leading and mentoring a team.Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
