Reporting to Hospital and Ancillary Relations Leadership, the Hospital & Ancillary Relations Program Administrator will be responsible for owning the implementation of strategy initiatives, projects, and other key activities within Hospital and Ancillary Relations department. The Program Administrator will provide project management support to the Vice President and Senior Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and achievement of goals and objectives. With limited administrative support, this position will develop, plan, coordinate, and maintain the operations of complex healthcare programs, systems, and special projects with an emphasis on program development and management. Individuals in this classification demonstrate a significant degree of independence performing a variety of responsibilities for administering and managing program objectives, policies and procedures and monitoring systems to promote and ensure compliance with governmental, regulatory, or organizational mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and monitor Hospital and Ancillary Relations strategy initiatives implementation work groups and work plans. Work collaboratively with the departments’ special program managers and leadership.

Provide project management support to Hospital and Ancillary Relations Leadership, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to collect input and requirements necessary for a successful implementation and achievement of goals and objectives for strategy interventions.

Ensure that all APLs are addressed, and policies updated within the Hospital and Ancillary Relations department by partnering with key individuals and departments (Health Services leadership, Quality Leadership, Compliance, Policy and Regulatory).

Act as a liaison with staff, administrators, program managers, directors, chiefs, regulatory bodies, and external organizations and providers.

Act as the subject matter expert for project development and program management, including bridging the gap between departments (i.e., IT liaison on project development and program management).

Develop and determine program/project goals, objectives, and financial requirements; develop quality indicators and relevant quantifiable criteria, ensure compliance with regulations, reimbursement requirements, and quality and performance standards.

Develop a standardized process to oversee all Hospital and Ancillary Relations contracts to ensure contracts are handled timely.

Ensure all materials (e.g. reports and studies) are submitted to Hospital and Ancillary and Skilled Nursing Facility subcommittees timely through working collaboratively with all Health Services leadership and Special Programs Managers.

Support leadership in strategic planning and overall program ownership.

Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.

Education & Experience

Five (5) years of experience in a managed care environment with experience in managing complex projects and programs utilizing data, workplans, project management tools, developing and managing report and monitoring requirements, comfortable with external and leadership facing presentations, and analytical capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

At least one (1) of the following certifications is required within one year of hire: PMP, PgMP, CBAP, PMI‐PBA, Scrum Certified, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, TPS Kaizen Certified.

State and federal initiatives. DHCS (CalAIM, Implementation of new all plan letters, 2024 contract readiness for Health Services, Knox Keene requirements, CCA (Covered California). CMS (DSNP model of care requirements, audit readiness).

The local and regional Member and Provider demographics and relationships.

Healthcare industry, specifically managed care organizations.

Hospital and Ancillary Relations Programs.
