Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the country’s premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers in 25 offices throughout the United States.Akerman is seeking an experienced Litigation Support Analyst to support its national eDiscovery Services practice. The location for this position is flexible, though candidates located in Central Standard Time, Mountain Standard Time or Pacific Standard Time are preferred.The Litigation Support Analyst will have a strong background in Relativity or RelativityOne, with extensive experience staging, processing and loading data. This position also requires high proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create pivot tables and use formulas to sort and manipulate data. This is a dynamic position that will work closely with Akerman case teams and the national eDiscovery Services Practice to support the full eDiscovery lifecycle of client matters.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for staging, processing, filtering, searching and promoting data in RelativityOne and other industry-leading eDiscovery tools.Responsible for the hands-on technical support for litigation workflow tasks such as database creation, new user creation, updating indices and associated maintenance.Conduct process to normalize, mass edit or deduplicate data; overlay existing records in workspace; design coding layouts, create fields, and advise case team on database design.Create search term reports and prepares electronic documents for case team’s review; export or produce records in a format that meets the project requested delivery specifications.Work with project management team to ensure deliverables meet requested specifications, and are delivered on schedule and on budget; oversee data acquisition and storage.Perform Quality Control measures on all processes to ensure incoming and outgoing data files meet project-specific and industry standards.Assist with firm and department projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3 years working as an eDiscovery Analyst or Specialist with extensive experience processing, loading and searching data in Relativity.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create pivot tables and use formulas to sort and manipulate data.Able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel, collaborating to enhance efficiency and effectiveness when utilizing the firm's technologies.Strong technical ability with a natural aptitude for data and technology.Able to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple, detailed tasks and anticipate when help will be needed from department members.Team-oriented and able to share information, goals and opportunities.Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S. or equivalent).Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
