Responsible for carrying out the Radiation Oncologist's prescription in the treatment of oncology patients. This includes possessing a thorough knowledge of all treatment techniques and modalities prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Accurately films treatment ports and records all treatments in the patient's chart. Must speak and read English at a level sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail) is required. Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, mouse functions, drop-down menus, scroll bars, and folder operations are required upon employment or within the first two weeks of employment. Performs other duties as assigned and follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.Job Requirements

American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider.Preferred Certification:
