LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for an international company that operates in the consumer services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day accounting department activities and all related systems and processes. This role is responsible for multiple U.S. entities and intercompany activity with several entities across multiple countries. The Accounting Manager supervises and reviews the work of the staff to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, compliance with SOX internal control procedures and adherence to corporate policies. In addition to supervising the Staff, this position also prepares the journal entries and the account reconciliations for some of the more complex accounting areas. This position requires a hands-on manager working in a collaborative environment.This position pays 120K-125K+10% Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.Job Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries as needed and review entries prepared by staff, both locally and from shared service center, in a manner to meet monthly deadlines.Prepare account reconciliations as needed and review entries prepared by staff, both locally and from shared service center.Analyze and providing explanations for financial variances.Adhere to all company policies and support strong internal controls over financial reporting.Managing the intercompany billing and balancing process monthly.Drive process improvements to optimize the efficiency of work within the department and to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.Supervise, develop, and review the work of a team of accountants and clerks both locally and in the shared service center with a 'hands-on' approach as the central resource to answer questions and provide guidance.Serve as support and back up for consolidation team which consolidates utilizing Hyperion FDM and HFM.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field)CPA certification, or Master's degree in Accounting7+ years of Accounting experience in fast-paced environment3+ years of Management experienceForeign Currency revaluation and translation experience, global company experienceStrong knowledge of operational accounting functions and related internal controlsStrong knowledge of US GAAP/ accounting theoryBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
