The Production Analyst provides support for the Affordable Housing Mortgage Banking team in reviewing and processing permanent loan requests.Essential Job FunctionsThis position works closely with Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers (MB) to provide loan origination and deal structuring support. Develop detailed working knowledge of underwriting parameters and requirements of all permanent lending products. Model loan submissions in order to determine the viability of loan requests. This function will include direct communication with borrowers, Relationship Managers, and mortgage brokers. Work with MB to determine loan sizing and pricing under all permanent lending programs. Work with MB in drafting loan applications. Prepare loan submissions to third party capital lending sources and aid in the processing of the loans with third party investors.Assist Mortgage Bankers in shepherding loans through the due diligence and closing process. Assist in business development by tracking transactions and fostering relationships with borrowers, brokers, and investors. Other duties and projects as assigned.Required QualificationsBusiness Related Degree.1-3 years Commercial Real Estate financial analysis experience.Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial spreadsheets.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are a must.Preferred QualificationsPrevious working experience in the commercial real estate permanent lending industry, specific experience working with CMBS, Life Insurance lending programs, Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac Program, FHA a plus.Affordable Housing experience also preferred.
