Join us and learn what it's like to work where you own it!Position Overview:As a Building Materials/Shed Associate, you will help customers load building materials, assist with propane fills, and perform cuts of wood and other materials for customers. Additionally, you’ll assemble BBQs, patio furniture, snow blowers, and other items. This position is active – you’ll be on your feet all day, lift heavy items, and operate a forklift. Our Shed Associates do all the “heavy lifting” in our operation ensuring that our customers are efficiently served and that our shed and outside premises are organized and sharp. The ideal candidate is up for some hard work, enjoys being active, and is looking for a year-round, full-time position.COMPENSATION RANGE - $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Full Time, 40 hours/week: 5 days on, 2 days off with at least 1 weekend shift.Duties and Responsibilities:Drive and operate warehouse forkliftOperate various power tools including but not limited to pipe threader, propane pump, panel saw, chop saw, and drillsGreet all guests with a positive attitudeLoad customer vehicles upon requestAssist in the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveriesAssemble furniture, barbecues, and other productsMake customer deliveriesSkills and Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have the ability to lift up to 100 lbsPrevious retail, hardware, and tools knowledge is desiredPrevious building materials knowledge is desiredMust be able to work in the United StatesMust have a valid driver’s license that meets our insurance company's standards and be able to make deliveriesMust be able to communicate effectively in English*People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Building Materials / Lumber: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:
